Bulk sign PDF files with a certificate on Windows
Sign hundreds of invoices, certificates or reports in one run instead of opening every file separately.
This product is not on sale or available for download yet. We are checking whether businesses need it, and its scope may still change.
Where the time goes
Typical signing software is built around one document at a time. With invoices, payslips or test reports, that turns into hours of clicking. This tool processes a whole folder and records the result for each file.
What it should do
- Sign a whole folder or watch a folder for new files
- Use a certificate from the Windows store, a file or a token
- Create PAdES signatures with RFC 3161 timestamps
- Optionally place a visible signature on the page
- Verify the resulting signature
- Keep a clear log of succeeded and failed files
Who it is for
- Accounting and payroll departments
- Laboratories and companies issuing certificates and reports
- Public bodies and organisations with high document volumes
Frequently asked questions
Will the signature be qualified?
That depends on the certificate and device. A qualified signature needs a qualified certificate with the key on a qualified device (QSCD). Otherwise it is an advanced signature or seal.
Is one PIN enough for a whole batch?
That depends on the token and the certificate issuer’s rules. Some devices require a PIN for every signature, and the software has to respect that.
Are documents uploaded to a server?
No. Documents are signed on your computer. For a timestamp, only the document’s hash is sent to the authority.
